Author Interview: Paul Zecos

Today we have author, Paul Zecos discussing his latest book, Resurrect and Restore.

About the Author

Mr. Zecos has been an executive and CEO of successful electronics companies and holds an MBA from Harvard University and M.Sc.’s from Columbia University and from the Athens Polytechnic. After selling his last company Paul retired from business and took on the more rewarding and much more difficult jobs of writing books and raising children.

Do you plan everything or just let the story flow?

I plan everything and then change my plans to let the story flow.

Do your characters ever want to take over the story?

All the time but they fail every time.

What is your favourite food?

Abesha Wot (Ethiopian); Gyros (Greek); Fondue

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Definitely a night owl.

Where do you dream of travelling to and why?

To the Greek islands… to chase my youth.

Do distant places feature in your books?

Yes.

Do you listen to music while writing?

Yes

What have you learned about writing and publishing since you first started?

That I have tried many unsuccessful ways and it is about time that I get it right.

Is there anything you would do differently?

Everything; but I would probably mess things up even more.

Who, or what, if anything has influenced your writing?

The words of Christ Jesus.

Anything you would say to those just starting out in the craft?

When I find out I will tell you.

What are three words that describe you?

Truthful, lazy, wise.

The author, Paul Zecos has also written THE WORLD ANEW, in 2006, that predicted the 2008 economic collapse, and in an attempt to prevent it, says on page 386 (third paragraph): “The Federal Reserve Bank….must reduce the leverage, by increasing the reserve requirements of Banks, thus reducing the probability of an economic collapse.” The public was not informed of the solutions to the economic collapse that was coming; the increase in reserve requirements for Banks was done too late, after the economic collapse, causing much unnecessary anguish to hundreds of millions of people.
